When Designcraft began in 1990, the founder saw a gap in the broadcast industry: stations were forced to choose between generic office furniture (inadequate for broadcast demands) or extremely expensive custom millwork with weeks-long lead times. Designcraft built a third path — production-quality, fully custom studio furniture at competitive prices with reliable lead times.
Decades later, that gap is still what drives us. Whether it's a 50,000-watt major-market station or a college radio program, we apply the same philosophy: understand the space, understand the workflow, and build something that will still look and perform beautifully in 20 years.
